How the wheel works

Seventeen bets of six numbers, arranged so that every number from 1 to 49 appears somewhere in bets 1–9, and again in bets 9–17. Bets 1–8 divide up 48 of the 49 numbers and bet 9 is built around the one they missed; bets 10–16 divide up 42 of the 44 that bet 9 left alone, and bet 17 is built around the two those missed.

Every bet is checked against all six rules before it is shown:

• Not all six numbers share the same parity
• No duplicated number
• Exactly six numbers
• Not all six numbers share the same colour
• The six numbers add up to between 91 and 210
• The six numbers are not one straight run (e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

Every bet shown is valid. The generator re-deals the whole wheel until all seventeen bets pass, rather than dealing once and reporting the failures as it used to.

A wheel guarantees coverage, not winnings. Every combination still has the same odds it always did.
